In Episode 5, Ildiko is discussing her research with Monica when an angry Annica arrives demanding to know what happened to Julie. In her rage, Annica shoots Ildiko in the belly and “kills” her. Anger turns to remorse as Annica realizes what she has done. Monica then tells her that Ildiko has amazing recovery powers, and when she pull Ildiko’s blouse up to revela the wound, Annica can’t understand what has happened. Ildiko suddenly attacks her and Annica succumbs to the vampire’s lethal bite. Annica’s body is then stripped and destined for disposal.
